I Spy - Kimonos and Naked Skin

I Spy was filmed in the 60s, Robert Culp and Bill Cosby two spies jetsetting all over the world.  The episodes are a mixture of tragic, fun, melancholy, suspense, and fun again.

Cosby and Culp started to get friends at the beginning of the series and stayed it until Culp’s death some months ago. I don’t know any fandom except Starsky&Hutch and I Spy with a deep friendship between the main actors lasting for decades.

I saw the first episodes in the 80s (just like S&H) and my slashy eyes were sparkling (sorry Pros – you are a later love *g*)

The I Spy fandom is small but enthusiastic, with a newborn lj community. Maybe you want to look at some screencaps I made.

Hehe, very nice! I love the pic with the vase...

They do look like they really enjoyed working with each other, and from what you've shown me, it's sometimes hard to believe this is a 60s show. I can certainly see why slasher hearts beat faster with this...

Ah the vase... I didn't see it at first, not until I played it in slow motion. Some years ago I always thought they didn't touch very much, but now, making screencaps, I discover really nice things *g*.

From what I've seen they seem very cozy with each other ;)

Thank you for the links, that was really interesting to read! I haven't seen the show yet but after seeing all those screencaps and reading this, I'm definitely interested in watching it! And yes, Bill Cosby is easy on the eyes... what a gorgeous body the man has *g*
